CONVEY SOFTWARE NAMES CFO, DEVELOPMENT VP AND PRODUCT STRATEGIST TO SENIOR MANAGEMENT TEAM

New team extends thought leadership and extensive business experience to globalization market

San Francisco, CA (March 25, 2002) - Convey Software, the leading provider of globalization technology and services, today announced the appointment of Tom Twietmeyer as its new Chief Financial Officer, Bruce Lacey as Vice President of Product Development and Michael McKenna as Product Strategist. These appointments strengthen the senior management and strategy teams at the company and enable Convey to continue delivering proven localization solutions to organizations with large-scale globalization initiatives.

Twietmeyer brings extensive experience with technology start-ups and enterprise software companies, including Verisign, Centerbeam and Autodesk. As CFO, Twietmeyer will oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the company and work closely with Convey's venture partners. Prior to joining Convey, Twietmeyer served as co-Founder, Executive Vice President and CFO of Centerbeam, Inc., where he built a senior finance, legal, HR, IT and operations team and raised $190M in preferred equity and debt financing. He also recently provided M&A consulting services to Verisign and spent 10 years at Autodesk, holding various financial, operational and general management positions in the U.S., Europe and Asia during the company's rapid growth years.

Lacey comes to Convey Software from Infomediary Technology Solutions (ITS), where he served as Vice President of Engineering. Responsible for product development at Convey, Lacey will leverage his proven ability to deliver commercial software technology on time and on budget. Prior to his role at ITS, Lacey held Director of Engineering and Vice President of Operations roles at AllAdvantage.com where he delivered a content decision and delivery system for a multi-million-member user community. Lacey has also led development teams at XonTech, where he was responsible for technical direction and delivery of three large-scale systems to the Department of Defense.

A business and technology globalization expert with a broad background in engineering, product management, business development and standards, McKenna will serve as the new Product Strategist for Convey. McKenna will work closely with customers and the product development and product management teams to extend the strategic vision for Convey Localization Suite. An active member of the globalization community, McKenna co-founded the Globalisation Management Strategies Group and has held senior globalization roles at Commerce One and Sybase. McKenna is a well-known speaker at industry conferences and has published several articles and white papers on globalization strategy and multicultural technology environments.
